Crystals Guide

Crystals have been highly-prized for centuries, for both their beauty and healing properties. Ancient Egyptians used them as adornments, as amulets (for protection against negativity, and for attracting positive, desirable influences), and also made ‘medicaments’ out of them – by grinding them into powder. Used by Priests, Healers, and Shamen for healing and spiritual exploration, gemstones were also worn by the rich and powerful, as tokens of their status, and to imbue them with the properties associated with the crystals. More recently, the power of crystals as energy amplifiers and transmitters has been well recognised - harnessed for use in radios, lasers and a number of other devices, (although most of the crystals used for this purpose are now synthetic). Crystals may be used to enhance spiritual awareness (the white light of clear quartz), and healing -to promote harmony and well-being, for space-clearing and psychic protection.
