General

By placing an order by telephone or fax through our customer services team, you confirm your unconditional acceptance of these conditions. No order will be deemed to constitute a contract of sale until the Goods are dispatched by the Seller.

Prices

All prices displayed include VAT where applicable. The price payable shall be that displayed at the time of ordering.

Delivery

The Seller shall not be held liable for any losses, expenses or consequential loss incurred by the Buyer or any other person or company however arising whether directly or indirectly out of a failure to meet an estimated delivery date.

Payment

Payment by credit card is due at the time of order. The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place an order, this includes any telephone orders.

We are entitled to make any adjustments to the price to take in to account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or the imposition of taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to accept or decline the order.

Warranty

Products sold by Serendipity Direct are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for 28 days. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from misuse.

Returned Goods

Notification of damage of wrongly shipped goods or incompletely shipped goods must be made within 48 hours of delivery.

The Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying damage to returned goods where such damage has in the opinion of the Seller been caused by the goods being inadequately packaged by the Buyer.

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery, additionally please inform by email to sales@serendipitydirect.com please do include your order number. This must be within 48 hours of acceptance of delivery. Any claim made outside of 48 hours will not be accepted. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

Faulty goods:

In the unlikely event you receive goods that are faulty. The Products that are deemed faulty can be returned for exchange. If we do not feel the goods are faulty we hold the right to return to the manufacturer for inspection.

Description of goods

Many of the products we sell are of a descriptive nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications, advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.

Payment and price

All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing an order.

Typographical error

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error  we shall have the right to refuse or  cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not  the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will issue a credit within 48 hours of the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).

Payment methods

We accept all major credit cards online including visa, MasterCard, maestro, solo. We do not accept American express or diners cards.

When placing an order, you must provide the exact billing address and a contact telephone number. This is the address your credit card has on file for you. Failure to provide these details is in breach of these terms and conditions and could result in a cancellation of your order. Your goods will only be distributed once all monies have been authorised and cleared.

Availability of goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. (Usually within 48 hours).

We will not be responsible for compensating you or any third party for any other losses suffered if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery charges

All prices are exclusive of delivery charges; these will be added to the price of the products at our checkout procedure.

Delivery within the UK.

If the order value is below £50.00 inclusive, there is a £2.50 charge for the first item and a 60p per item charge thereafter. This is dispatched by Royal Mail and can take up to 2-5 working days.
If the order is over £50.00 in value, there is no postage charge. This is dispatched by Royal Mail and can take up to 2-5 working days.

Delivery times

Delivery of products within the UK will normally be dispatched within 2-3 working days from clearance of payment.
